4th of July

For the 4th of July we went on our annual trip to Delta.  We always have a blast and this time since the 4th fell on a Wednesday we got to go for way longer than usual.  We went Tuesday after work and stayed til Sunday!

Aspen was way tuckered out after the late night driving to Delta and getting up and ready for the parade.  This was while all the other kids were playing on the bounce house toys.

The whole crew (minus Ben taking the pic and Kira, she got there a little after we took this) at the demolition derby.  It was Tiffany's (Gavin's girlfriend) first ever derby.

And it was an awesome one!  There were tons of cars flipping over!  Well truck in the pic.

We kept this crazy girl entertained mostly by Jell-O popcorn.  She actually did pretty good.

And Hunter was glued to the derby like always.  He has always loved going and watching all the cars!

There was of course lots of wake boarding.  This is Ben doing a back flip.

Here's Gavin.

And Kira, she was awesome.

And me, it takes a lot of concentration for me to get up Haha!  I don't know why but I didn't have any pics of Jos, but I know she was out there too!

Another of Ben, he gets so high!!

Aspen loved playing in the sand and water.

And Hunter always loves playing on the boat, this was also the trip that we finally got him to trust his life jacket and start to swim by himself!  Ya it's basically just doggy paddling but he did great!

Aspen loved hanging out with Kira on the tube (they were right by the dock just floating.)

He loves the boat!

I love these guys!

Aspen and Lucas playing in the cabin.

And some sickies laying on the couch.  It was a bummer there was a stomach bug going around the cabin, Hunter, Kira, Dixie, Joslyn (I think that's everybody, I can't remember for sure) all got sick.  Ben wasn't sick he was just tired after playing so hard.

I love that cute smile!

This is my favorite pic of Aspen ever!  I think she looks so cute!!!

These were some fun parachute firework things Dixie got all the Grandkids, they loved them!

The next several pics are from Ben's camera (I forgot some of the pics were on his) so they are going back to the first day we were there.  This is all the kids getting some breakfast in before we headed to the parade.

Grandma, Gavin, and Grandpa waiting for the parade to start.

Aspen's first parade that she could really go get the candy, she did not want to put it in the bag!!

Such a cute pic!  Those fire trucks sure are loud!

The kids loved playing on the bounce houses at the park.  Before we had even paid for the kids to go on them Hunter took off and before we even realized he was gone he had found his way past the line of kids and up the big bounce house slide!  Little turkey!!

So Handsome!  He wants to be on the boat every time it goes out.

Look how cute her painted nails are!

Aspen's first sparkler.

Hunter with his.

Watching Ben's firework show off the dock.

The other group of watchers :)

And these two on their sick day.  It was so sad!  Hunter actually got a second wave of it on our way home too.  Poor guy!

Homemade Swimming Pool

After washing our car the kids were having so much fun playing in the water I decided to make there own person swimming pool (and to keep them out of the bowl with all the yucky water I rinsed the rags off in.)

We added some popsicles to the day

And they had a blast!!

A couple days later we were able to get to go enjoy time with the family at Kyler's blessing.  He is such a cutie, and sadly this is the only pic I got of the day, Ben playing with Aspen and Tucker on the stairs.  It's a cute pic though!

Father's Day

For Father's Day my dad came to their Hurricane house and my mom had dinner for the whole family.  Derrick wasn't there since he lives in Oregon but we did do face time with him and sang Happy Birthday to him since Father's Day landed on his birthday this year.  Kira made a HUGE chocolate cake, I don't think we even got through half of it and our family loves cake!  We even gave all the kids big pieces too!

We took Aspen and Tuckers clothes off and let them have at the cake outside.  I think they enjoyed it :)  Aspen hated when we sprayed her off with the hose though.  We got pictures of it on Brandi's phone, I should have asked for some cuz it was pretty funny, oh well.

Our naked babies running around after we sprayed them off.  I love Brandi's face in this haha!

Aspen's cute little crack hanging out!

This was a few days after Father's Day but I though it was so crazy how messy she managed to get with a bowl of Cocoa Puffs!!!

That is one cute messy face!  And she usually doesn't get anywhere near that messy now :)

Softball Tournament

A guy that I went to high school with was diagnosed with cancer and his family set up a softball tournament to raise money for him.  So our family put a team in!  It was really fun and coed wasn't as scary as I had always thought it would be.  I've never played coed cuz boys scare me haha :)  Our team did really good and we had a blast.  There were 3 out of the 5 Robinson kids on our team.  Kira had just started her new job and had to work otherwise she would have been there too.  This actually happened in May, I hadn't taken the pics on my camera they were on my phone so I almost missed this post!

This is our cute Aspen taking a nap during the tournament.  Oh and right before we headed to Kanab for the tournament we found out our kids had Hand, Foot and Mouth so they looked sad with red bumps all over their hands and feet, they didn't get any in their mouth luckily.

Here's the team picture, Paul had no idea Dean was about to shove cupcake in his face :)

Mesquite Trip

In June Ben got invited to go on a scout trip with the Priests (He's the 11 year old Scout Leader, they just needed another leader that could go on the week long camp out) to Lake Powell.  While he was gone I ended up getting invited to go to Mesquite for a night with my family.  My parents and Uncle Al go down occasionally and they had free rooms for the night so we all headed down.  My parents had a room, Al had a room, and Me, Kira and my kids were in another room.  Hunter was really cute and insisted on sleeping in Kira's bed with her haha sorry Kira!  He likes to rub his legs up and down people while he sleeps, so weird!  We went down Friday night and ate at the buffet, while we were waiting in line Hunter kept looking at all the games in the Casino and a couple times tried to run over there and play them.... They looked so fun!  I told him if he was really good for me then we would take him to the kids games later.  After we ate at the buffet me and Kira took the kids swimming at the hotel then headed to bed.
In the morning we ate at the breakfast buffet, went bowling, then me and my Mom (Kira got picked up by Brandi and they headed to Vegas to see the Phantom of the Opera) took the kids to the Arcade.  Before I realized what was going on my Mom put $10 in the token machine.  Hunter got spoiled with TONS of games!!  He loved it!  With all his tickets he got him and Aspen both rubber duckies, 3 Spider rings and some candy!  He is so funny he was very specific on what duckies he wanted and how many rings he wanted, it was awesome.  After that me and the kiddos headed home.  It was a way fun mini vacation!
I only got picks of us bowling here they are:

They both thought it was so cool!  Hunter has been bowling before but it was a long time ago.  This was Aspen's first time.  They had the right size shoes for Hunter and they even got a special ball just for him!  It was so fun, he loved it!

My Dad's turn.

Uncle Al

Hunter with his special ball that was light enough for him to carry all by himself.

He usually just dropped the ball thinking it would roll down there, so Grandpa would usually help him.

Kira in her professional stance.  Haha.  I hadn't know it but apparently she took a bowling class in college.  I think that would be a way fun class :)

The crew, Aspen liked to hang out with Grandma.  I don't know why I didn't get a pic of my Mom bowling...

And our scores.  Yes I am that bad :)
