In June Ben got invited to go on a scout trip with the Priests (He's the 11 year old Scout Leader, they just needed another leader that could go on the week long camp out) to Lake Powell. While he was gone I ended up getting invited to go to Mesquite for a night with my family. My parents and Uncle Al go down occasionally and they had free rooms for the night so we all headed down. My parents had a room, Al had a room, and Me, Kira and my kids were in another room. Hunter was really cute and insisted on sleeping in Kira's bed with her haha sorry Kira! He likes to rub his legs up and down people while he sleeps, so weird! We went down Friday night and ate at the buffet, while we were waiting in line Hunter kept looking at all the games in the Casino and a couple times tried to run over there and play them.... They looked so fun! I told him if he was really good for me then we would take him to the kids games later. After we ate at the buffet me and Kira took the kids swimming at the hotel then headed to bed.
In the morning we ate at the breakfast buffet, went bowling, then me and my Mom (Kira got picked up by Brandi and they headed to Vegas to see the Phantom of the Opera) took the kids to the Arcade. Before I realized what was going on my Mom put $10 in the token machine. Hunter got spoiled with TONS of games!! He loved it! With all his tickets he got him and Aspen both rubber duckies, 3 Spider rings and some candy! He is so funny he was very specific on what duckies he wanted and how many rings he wanted, it was awesome. After that me and the kiddos headed home. It was a way fun mini vacation!
I only got picks of us bowling here they are:
They both thought it was so cool! Hunter has been bowling before but it was a long time ago. This was Aspen's first time. They had the right size shoes for Hunter and they even got a special ball just for him! It was so fun, he loved it!
My Dad's turn.
Uncle Al
Hunter with his special ball that was light enough for him to carry all by himself.
He usually just dropped the ball thinking it would roll down there, so Grandpa would usually help him.
Kira in her professional stance. Haha. I hadn't know it but apparently she took a bowling class in college. I think that would be a way fun class :)
The crew, Aspen liked to hang out with Grandma. I don't know why I didn't get a pic of my Mom bowling...
And our scores. Yes I am that bad :)
